Privacy notice
Version 2026-10
Version 2026-10. This notice covers bookthecircle.com and the people who contact us or become organisers. It is from All One Planet Ltd (company no. 11017373), Blackhall Mill, Newcastle upon Tyne NE17 7LH, registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, reference ZC188092. If you booked a class, workshop or retreat
Your booking was made on an organiser's own site. The organiser is responsible for your details (the controller). We run the site for them as their processor. Their privacy notice is on their site's Policies page; please contact them first. You can download your own booking data from My bookings on their site at any time.
If you contact us or book a call
- What we keep: your name, email address, organisation, what you run, and your message.
- Why: to reply and to talk to you about setting up a site. We rely on our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us.
- Where it goes: it is saved on our server and emailed to our inbox, which is hosted by Google.
- How long: two years from when we last heard from you, unless you become an organiser.
If you become an organiser
- What we keep: the names and email addresses of the people with admin logins, your organisation's details, a record of when you accepted our terms, and the fee and payment records we need for our accounts.
- Why: to provide the service under our contract with you, and to meet our legal duties.
- How long: while your account is open. Accounting records are kept for six years, as the law requires.
Cookies
We only use the cookies the site needs to work:
- the cookies that keep you logged in and protect forms;
- on organiser sites, a cookie that remembers your device for My bookings for 90 days.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies or analytics. Pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so Google sees your device's internet address when a page loads.
Who else handles data
- Stripe: payments.
- Brevo: sending emails.
- Hostinger: our server, in the UK.
- Google: our email inbox and encrypted backup copies.
We never sell personal data.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
